Yousef Wehbe

Yousef Wehbe is a Senior Legal Advisor for the Syria Regional Desk at the Diakonia IHL Centre. He holds a Master of Laws in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Law, a Master of Arts in Literature, and a diploma in Educational Sciences. With nearly 15 years of experience, Yousef has held various roles within international NGOs across the Middle East and Africa. He has provided crucial support to human rights organizations on matters of international law and has led teams of legal experts addressing specialized legal issues. His work includes humanitarian engagement with non-State armed groups and assisting civil society organizations and survivors of armed conflict violations.
