Sama is currently the News Roundup Editor (2026) for the Armed Groups and International Law blog. She holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva (UNIGE), specializing in Swiss Law and International Law. Her thesis examined the role of the United Nations Security Council in the protection of civilians in Syria under international humanitarian law.
